Includes prose and verse: epitaphs, news items, and antiquarian notes. Contains information regarding the Norwich provincial theatre. Also, an annual account of "The Publick Diversions & Entertainments at Norwich this year..." for a number of years, mostly in the 1750s. There is some information on the jugglers and players from London. Little else other than A short view of the English kings from Edward the Confessor (begins leaf 81 verso) appears to be original.

The patron saint of St. Edward's University. A statue of of St. Edward was donated to the university on October 13, 1962 by Anita Zapalac im memory of Louis Zapalac, father of Robert Zapalac, class of 1962. That date was the 900th anniversary of Edward's death and is St. Edward's feast day, which has also been established as St. Edward's University Founders Day.
